Dashi is a two-story Japanese restaurant in Downtown Durham, North Carolina. Centering on exquisite ramen noodle bowls, our menu also features innovative small plates and unique desserts. Enjoy steaming noodle bowls and small plates in our first floor ramen shop or upstairs in the izakaya (Japanese pub)!

Boasting hundreds of spirits, our bar highlights an one-of-a-kind curated selection. Creative craft cocktails rotate seasonally and our expert bartenders and servers will happily guide you through our 250+ bottle extensive whiskey and bourbon selection as well as our Japanese liquors: sake, shochu, vodka, gin, and whisky.

OPEN ALL DAY, EVERY DAY FOR LUNCH AND DINNER

Our first floor ramen shop is a cozy dining experience that opens at 11:30am every day of the week and features an open kitchen where steamy bowls of ramen are assembled steps away from your table. Our second floor izakaya (a Japanese term that essentially translates to pub) welcomes guests starting at 4pm daily. The izakaya features a beautiful bar that showcases our expansive drink menu. Each floor presents its own unique atmosphere while offering the same spectacular menus. Join us for a great meal or pop in for a drink.
